When Networking & MLM Freaks Attack

I’m not one for networking. I’m talking about buy-our-product-and-recruit-some-more-buyers kind of networking. I’ve been to one of their “seminars”. It was crazy my friend told me that he has a group discussion of some sorts that he wants me to “observe”. He said that he also invited a few of our college buddies over. I went and I saw a look of confusion in the eyes of my other college buddies. They were sporting the “I’d rather be in Darfur than here” gaze. It was a riot, people were flashing their pay cheques. Shouting how much they easily earned with their networking scheme. Some even cried. It was as if I was in some religious cult concert/blood compact. I asked my friend if I can go buy my meds in the nearby drug store. I never made any contact with that freak ever again.

It may work for some but I don’t believe in asking someone to purchase some stupid product I don’t for the love of god would use my self. I simply don’t.

So imagine my horror when I got a text message from an unknown Sun Cellular mobile number. It was talking about getting free training for a lucrative work-from-home business proposal. It asked me to go to www.peaklifestyle.com/ukasia. I went there and the sight of testimonials sent shivers down me. I don’t want to jump into conclusions and call them freaks easily. I researched some more over the net and my hunch was correct! I replied to the text messsage. I asked who she/he/IT was. 

The ambiguity of their websites content will make you discover that you have a gift of discerning crap from ultimate rubbish, this line is a classic example:

Crush Of The Month : Marshall Allman

I honestly thought I saw him on one of the old audition videos (porn) over at www.evideoshare.com. First off the site is gone so I can’t check if its true. But I tell you they could pass as identical twins. Wait a sec, lemme check my PC later, I believe I saved a copy of that. However, I’m convinced, after scouring through fan-made sites and imdb pages about him, that Marshall Allman is a legit hollywood hottie with or without pre-famous web audition videos. (Can’t wait to scan through my porn vids when I get home.)

It may come as a surprise to you, as it was a shock for me, that for someone who’s only 5″7 and in his  mid-20s he packs a lot of cuteness. Don’t let the Efronish do fool you but he’s been in the biz for some time. We’re talkin about Without A Trace, Boston Public and Malcom In The Middle. But we all know him as Lincoln Burrows Junior (”LJ”) from my current addiction Prison Break. I must say he’s really good there actingwise. But I like him more with ropes and mouth tape-closed. He looked so puppy-eyed helpless in Season 3 of P.B. 

A native of Austin, Texas, he was into soccer and arts back in high school. But it was LA that got the best of the artistic side of Marshall. He’s turning 25 this April and already married to Jamie Anne Allman (played as Martha Shaw in the movie : The Notebook) for 2 years now. Talk about looking young!

Britney Performs At Good Morning America

Me and my mother watched Britney Spears “Live” performance over at Good Morning America yesterday. Two things were celebrated, her 27th birthday and the release of her uber publicized Circus album. She performed Circus and Womanizer. As for the question whether she performed it well…

I guess my mother’s right, but, what the fuck is happening to Britney’s body? She looks so smoldering hot! Well aside from that, I can’t see anything fabulous with Britney’s first TV performance after the MTV Music Awards mess last year. At any rate, welcome back Britney and here’s to better dance routines and adjusting headset mics that y’all know is turned off. Hihi!

Pack Yer Bags Were Going To Zimbabwe!

I was contemplating over my existance, more specifically zeroing in on my finances yesterday. I dunno but the crafty devil by my shoulder led me to a foreign exchange website. I placed 1 right next to “Philippine Peso (PHP)” over at www.coinmill.com.

I scanned through the different conversions of my beloved Philippine Peso to other currencies and I just needed to shout Holy Sweet Baby Jaysus when my eyes landed on Zimbabwe Dollar. My motherfucking Peso is worth 1919.72 Zimbabwe stone money. I could buy an elephant there! 

My mind drifted of to plans of a Zimbabwe safari. There has to be a catch to this poor filipino guys dream destination, right?

I researched and found that as far back as the time that Oprah hasn’t discovered Spanx yet, Zimbabwe has been a hot bed for travel bans everywhere.

And if that wasn’t enough just today, them Zimbabs made it to the news. They are down with cholera. Tsk Tsk. That’s what I call poor!  UN reports that 360 people have died from this outbreak since August. I think I better start a fund raiser here in the office. If my math is as good as I believe it is we could come up with ALOT of Zimbabwe Dollars. On a serious note, they need our help.
